I can think of at least one poster who is split posts with annoyingly frequent brevity.... Gregster.

I find it difficult to read through posts that quote other posts and have responses intercut into the quote sections or between separate ones.
So do I.

I usually just ignore those and go on to the next one.

This style is reminiscent of the "Debating Forum" where this is done quite a lot.
Actually I've found serious debaters benerally present unified arguments, moving to splits to emphasise certain elements.

Quoting the paragraph and then responding in one section seems to flow better and is easier on the eyes when different colors are used.
Agreed. Flow is wierd otherwise

This seems to happen more on serious, hotly contested topics and not on the fun ones, of course.
Of course

Am I the only one with these problem?
No

Your thoughts are appreciated!
So are yours.

Now...wasn't that annoying?
Not to me, but then I don't seem to have the same problems following that kind of flow.

It allowed you to address each point you wanted to
and everything was nice and orderly. The only problem a person could nit-pick about is that you quoted some things that you didn't need to since you made no real comment on them.

I suppose of someone really didn't want you to examine their statemnets that closely and wanted to be able to just slip some non-factual or incorrect arguments in....it could be annoying to them...

Congratulations ole pal - your mind must just work on advanced level or somethin

It allowed you to address each point you wanted to subtitle not in your repertoire perhaps?

I so wonder what these colours are goin to come out like,
that you didn't need to since you made no real comment on them.

I suppose of someone what was you meanin to say there?,

really didn't want you to examine their statemnets huh
that closely and wanted to be able to just slip some non-factual or incorrect arguments in....it could be annoying to them... what were we talking about again
I suppose I am above the comprehension of mere troglodytes, but I think the average human can work through one of my posts and understand the content. You all have done admirably of late

If on the other hand it really annoys you, you could always just ignore my posts. I do not believe anyone is twisting your arm making you read and reply Of course some people just like to bitch and are not happy unless they have something to complain about...in which case I guess I am providing a public service

Enjoy the holiday weekend folks! errr well for those of you who have a holliday weekend that is.

Edit: font fixing.

Mark

[EDIT] For clarity.

Well no one on IW could qualify as troglodyte, since to be here you have to have mastered the rudements of the computer world at least Content may be an issue....

Oh, I dunno, there may be some people on Ironworks who would fit the description of troglodyte. Although, as you say, that's more content than computer knowledge.

P.S. Steve Fox, was that last interjection a commentary on something, or just mere ?

Cheers,
