Things not liked about iron works have been said, now let me tell you the good things about ironworks in the Ironworks defense
1) Ironworks runs on its own personal server which means The host can run it with out having to worry of another host messing it up. 2) Because ironworks runs on its own server there is no need for annoying banners or popups to be advertised. 3) People on ironworks are friendly, funny, and all like gaming. 4) Unlike alot of forums, the colour scheme is easy to look at with out straining my eyes 5) Ironworks is a huuuge comunity, so you can meet loads of people, actualy:- Thoooousands of people. 6) When you have started a topic, you never usualy have to wait long for a reply, because loads of people will be waiting to reply. 7) There are tons of smileys to choose from unlike other forums, where there is usualy only about 5-10. 8) You have different levels depending on how many posts you have sent, sets a goal with each post you send to get to. 9) Ironworks must be the only forum in the world to have its own radio station, if there are others, there are very few because i have not heared of them. 10) HTML is enabled, Pictures in posts are enabled, and because its a server run by the admin, it means they dont have to worry as much about running out of space when things are being posted. Now i feel that i have said enough in the Ironworks defence, so what do ya got to say about that |

You forgot the bit about the Moderators being god-like entities who are unfailingly polite, even-handed and fair. Not a bad list apart from that major oversight

I stumbled onto IWF blindly searching for BGII cheats. It is the first forum I joined and was my introduction to forum communities. Since then, I have joined one other forum, regarding PnP D&D, which I used to meet a gaming group in my town, and I have visited only once or twice since then. I am quite the dedicated IWF junkie, and my visits to other forums leave me quite disappointed.
I consider myself quite lucky for finding this forum first. Hooray IWF! |

ROTFL@Mouse's post.
Timber Loftis, I know just how you feel! I guess it pays to shop around but having been here first, I know what the others are missing, so it makes it hard to go anyplace else!
