How is the game?

Hi..
I started out buying BG2..
After i've played this games a lot I bought IWD and HoW in one time..
I liked BG2, but IWD was too much just a story for me.. I walked out, killed some monsters back to the city and oout fighting again..
I didn't play it much..

BG2 was more completed, and better story I think..
But now I want to know if IWD2 could be something for me? Or is it just the same as IWD1?

Well i too didn`t like IWD very much. Too much hack`n`slash for my taste.

I think IWD II is a good game. Not as good as BG2:SoA but good. Although you can`t compare these to games very well becuase IWD is more about fighting,BG is more about quests.

IWD II is a good game,becuase of it`s Sub Races and 3ed Edition Rules.
I have it but i don`t like it.
Each to his own I guess.

i think it's great, especially on HOF mode with all the unbelievable items. the storyline isn't anything special but i loved bg2 as much as the next gamer and thoroughly enjoyed both iwd and iwd2. i do miss being able to talk with my party though......... sigh. but i do agree with the pharoah, bg's and iwd's shouldn't be compared.
