You honestly don't know me that well then, Oblivion...I would never even consider infantry...then there really are a lot of people out to kill you...whereas being a Techy is relatively safe, and u get a nice pension afterwards.

I've fired the SA80-A2, and I agree...it's dire. Last time I fired one, I broke the handle off, trying to cock the damn thing.

Yeah, I also have to ask, why is there something inside the handle? It isn't part of the operating group, so there's no need. Britain should by some weapons from the Germans. I hear now that HK is in the hands of the Germans, they'll sell off the G-36 at bulk rates.

Nothing wrong with being a ground tech, and since the AF needs approximately 500 personnel in support for every pilot, it's much easier to get in as a tech.

Get as many degrees as they'll let you have; it's a cheap way to get educated, and military trained technicians are in demand. You'll write your own job description when you get out.
