G'day cobbers

Less than 10 hours to go before the kickoff between England and Australia football teams at upton park, London. Use this thread to post predictions, team news , match action, smart arse comments, post match bragging and excuses.

But please lets keep the humour merciless and bigoted at all times in the best football tradition.

Well, let's just say, that this is one teamsport where the Aussies DON'T dominate the Brits.

Don't speak to soon, johnny...from what I hear, Sven Goran will be unleashing the Seven Dwarfs after halftime.

GokuZool's prediction

England 2
Australia 1

The Socceroos will score in the 20th minute. Kewell will put in a great cross, Viduka will head it in England will come back just before half-time to even out the scores. Then in the 85th minute or so, England will score the winner.

(If I get this right I will be showered in riches )

However, England are going to put on a "younger" side on in the second half, (Rooney etc.) so if the Socceroos score in the first half, they should secure the win! (hopefully )

Latest odds on Australia winning are 15-2.

It seems as if England are not going to take this match seriously, they plan on playing up to 7 new players in the second half. for this reason alone I hope beyond hope that Australia win. I hate arrogance
