It's a BOY!!! But I guess all of you already knew that.

For those that did not know, my wife and I were expecting a baby boy.

Well, Andrew Nathaniel was born yesterday around 5:00 PM (the time is a little hazy). He was a whopping 11 pounds and 3 ounces and 22.5 inches long. All the nurses seem to know me by sight, as the father with the BIG baby boy. Things did not go a smoothly as one would hope but everyone and everything is fine now.

At the moment I am rushed, so I will post my thoughts/reflections later when I have more time. However, I will be around for a little while before I head back to the hospital.

Again, thank you all for your wishes!

CONGRATULATIONS, ONTHEPEQUOD!!!!

Welcome to the world, Andrew Nathaniel! May thy ways be ever blessed.

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
