Just looked at interplay's website and saw HoW on sail for 19.95.
well I guess they got the point from all the negitive poblicity! I personaly feel the expansion hype discreditted the actual play of the game, and the game should have had more monsters added.. I'm sure alot went into the game as far as programming and so forth, But I wished this game would have been more along the lines of comparison as BGI and BGII. Does anyone know if another part of this episode is going to happen? well needless to say I do like the game GREATLY and will continue buying. just hope the next is better!!  ------------------  Walk lightly my friend. |

Another part of Icewind dale Episode or Baldur's gate? If Baldur's Gate, they've already announced the expansion pack for BGII Throne of Bhaal to be released sometime later on this year. If you mean IWD, I highly doubt it - already we can get to an insane level 30, and I don't see them throwing demigod weasels at us just to give us a challenge!

I think Interplay are trying to squeeze all the games out the licence as quickly as possible as the AD&D CRPG section is now owned by Infogrames. Hasbro Interactive (owners of Wizards of the coast) was sold off to the aforementioned French company. Someone did a post about this in the BG2 forum on the old board. might be able to find it in the archives.
