Also I just finished watching Urotsukidoji:Legend Of The Overfiend.
I had heard of it for a long time, and some of its more disgusting content (Demon Hentai anyone? ) and despite some of the totally unnecessary demon sex and rape scenes, it was an actually good anime film, dont get me wrong its not a scratch on Orguss02 (my favourite anime) or Perfect Blue, but it was still a good one, definatly better than some of ther other demon anime's like Monster City
HAs anyone else seen Urotsukidoji? And what did you think of it, oh and has anyone else saw Orguss02? Cause I dont know anyone else who has, which is a shame cause its so good!
Ringu is much better than the American remake (The Ring). Japanese horror is like their anime (esp. hentai) in that all the anger/fear/sexual repression comes out with no holds barred. As bad (ie sick & twisted as it is) it is still rendered as archtypes/innuendo/symbolic. Have you ever wondered why Japanese "heroes" and women are round eyes while all the other characters have Asian features? Round eyes dominated/defeated/raped by demons. I don't know if I'm more afraid to be Japanese or gaijen. The Overfiend series was pretty good but like you I much prefer Perfect Blue or Princess Mononoake. Maybe we could take this to the book/movie forum and get good arguements *ahem* debates going on the symbolism of Japanese manga/anime/hentai and which ones are really good.

But sure, I think you should post a topic on the books, films forum

Leafs are losing... Again... *sigh* And that same car commercial has been on seven times already. Speaking of hockey, what is everyone's favourite team(s)? I like Toronto and Detriot. But not Montreal. Grrrrr....

HI! Just popping in a minute before dinner! Spent the day putting a cat tree together and doing a bit of yard and housework.

Howdy Cloudy!
It's fun to say try it. It's been a long time we've been on at the same time. I hope you enjoyed the pineapple. I'm giving you fair warning that I've been doing experiments. Look for a Hedda announcement in the near future.

Sir G, did I see the Oilers actually winning? *gasp* Something is wrong in the world.

BTW, for those that don't know, I am a Wings fan. After all, I live in Michigan.

Speaking of which: Yay, UofM! They gave out a beating today!
