Evweryone on this board is always *great* about offering up advice to a post, even if they chastise the person a bit for not searching the older threads. But, without the search function there was beginning to be an endless repetition of asked-and-answered questions on the CRPG boards. As Memnoch (who I promise to never tease about his sig again) said, it's a godsend.
