Update: after some time now the information is pretty much terrible. The Magnetic Resonance showed that he has a broken discus somewhere in his backbone between his brae. The doc suggested physical therapy but operation is still one option. The sad thing is that he will not be allowed to run anymore but he loves sport and running... huh what a Christams huh?

That's a lousy thing to find out on Christmas eve. If you have the option for physical therapy, go for it. Don't rush for surgery, keep that as a last resort. Trust me, you do not want to rush into surgery. Best wishes to your dad's speedy recovery, and best wishes to you for X-mas!

I am so sorry to hear that, Xen Well, there's always hope that things could turn out better with time. Wishing you and your family a terrific Christmas and wonderful new year ahead, anyway.

I'm sorry to hear that, Xen! I hope they can make it a little better for him, at least.
