I picked up the Mavin sword, but the little door in the Mavin Altar room isn't open. I was expecting to leave through there - does something have to happen that hasn't happened yet? I want to go to Brimloch Roon - how do I get there from Dragonspire?

Alright, with some clever search key words I found another post about letting the narrator finish... However, I did re-click the altar, and he didn't start up again. I may have to restore...

did you click on the stand that holds the sword?

Well, I had equipped the sword before the narrator finished. Touching the stand/altar had no effect, but as soon as I unequipped it, he continued and the door opened!
