There is no subsitute for WoW.

It is the greatest game ever created, and if you've got bored, your not exploring all the avenues the game has to offer. IMPO.

And to the OP, how is "anything other than a lock easy mode". It is well observed in many opinions, that locks themselves are easy mode.

I never could get into WoW, I need something with a story in my games, and WoW has no story at all. I never got my pally above 30 i think. Everyone was pretty much nice, I mean high lvl char's giving me a gold piece or two, and I got in a guild, Vindicated Alliance I think, but it just couldn't hold my attention. Maybe I'm not the nerd I thought I was...

Or you know full well what all the avenues are and that you've been down them, in one flavor or another, many many times before. My biggest problem is that after 2 years the gear just wasn't enough to bait me into doing the same content, albeit reskinned and progressively more challenging, over and over again. You can sugar coat it all you want, but it's basically the same crap you were doing at level one and the same crap in the teens, twenties, etc. Go here, collect this, kill that, take this there, talk to this person, you get the idea. Even doing raids is exactly the same, except you're doing it with more people and it requires a higher level of skill, but it's essentially the same crap over and over again. PvP can be interesting, but again it's just an endless grind for purple gear and just wasn't enough for me to warrant the time invested.

For some people, such as yourself, WoW obviously works well. For others, like me, calling it the greatest game ever made is WAY off mark. The greatest MMO ever made? Absolutely!
