Just eat something- that keeps me awake.
I'm not big on hunting for sport myself. (Noone in my family would let me near a gun anyway.)

Well, I'm sure he was at least temporarily insane. Lack of sleep kills brain functions. My psyche teacher once told me about a guy who gave up sleep as a matter of protest. I can't remember what he was protesting against but it doesn't really matter. Anyways, in the end he ended up wrestling with a gorilla that only he could see. Moral of the story? Sleep!!

In Hungary there have been competitions about who can stay awake the longest while using a computer in an internet cafe, and there were several people who went for a week. Probably sleeping a lot before it and using large amounts of coffee.

I've found hunting to be an excellent time to reflect, especially if you're going the tree stand route. Being a journal and a pen, or bring a good book, (i know, i know, lugging a rifle, a knife, your lunch, and 30 pounds of gear around isn't really asking for taking another 3 pounds or reading material), but it's actually a productive way to spend a morning, espescially when the deer are absolutely content to avoid your stand at all costs
