At a pinch, yer old box will do, wi a new graphics card (Geforce2 Ti maybe, or a Geforce4 Ti. Dont go higher than that though, waste of power) and mebbe some more RAM.
But if you want to go get a brand new box for NWN, I use: ASUS A7N8X-deluxe mobo, although I would recommend you get a newer version with the Nforce2 400 chipset on it. AMD XP2600+ CPU. Although you can go as high as you can afford with that mobo. 512Mb DDR PC2700 RAM, although thats a minimum amount for a gaming machine these days, best to go with 1Gb. Faster is good too. I use a Geforce4 Ti4200, but the most modern games are demanding a DX9 compatable card, which leads us to the geforeceFX series. (ATI cards don't do well with NWN). 5800 or 5900 seem to be the best at the higher end, with the 5200 being entry level and the 5600 being average. 5950 is overpriced for what advantages it has.

Here is what i put teogether for people with limited budgets:
AMD AthlonXP 2000 (1.67Ghz) Asus A7VA8-X Mainboard 512 Megs of PC-2700 DDR Ram G-Force FX 5200 ( 128 Mb DDR AGP 8x ) Those parts there will average around $250.00 A new Hard Drive, Case ( If parts dont fit in old case ) Sound Card, ect will of course will change the price.

The GeForce FX 5200 scores lower on tests then the Geforce 4 MX. Even for people with low budgets, there are better choices.

Yes, but its DX9 compatable so for running modern games it will do better than the G4MX even if it has less raw polygon shifting ability.
