DOes it blink these strange colors or is everything miss colored. The blinking goes away the same happened to me after i quite BG2 and during WC2. If it is a discoloration all the time I belive that its time for a new monitor.

If its blinking strange colours, its quite possibly a loose connection. Espcialy if its blinking pinkish, its seems the blue pin is most prone to having a dodgy connection.

Checking the connection would be good, for a start. And make sure theres no dirt on the pins, even a tiny bit might be enough to flake out a connection.

Other than that, see if moving the cable at the monitor end has any effect - its not common for a loose connection inside the monitor itself, but its not unheard of.

Somethings buggered somewhere then.

Try that monitor on someone elses PC, if it does the same thing then youve got a dud monitor.
