I believe you'll find Yago on a ship in the southern part of Baldur's Gate. There'll be a bit of fighting to get belowdecks to where he is, but that shouldn't discourage an adventurer such as yourself

You'll be wanting to get that book, trust me. Mostly because of a certain item you can get on your way there

It is the "docks" section of town in the far south...if you rember where the big building is where you have to take bring a certian Flaming fist officer when hes sick...I dunno if you have done that quest or not, so you might not know where that is but another quest in that area is that Basilsk in the storage warehouse. *Yago will not be right there for you you have to find him*

The name of the inn (obviously a ship, but it's not clear if the vessel is still seaworthy) is the Low Lantern, and it's marked on your map of the city.

[ADD:] Answers to questions such as this one can usually be found in your Journal. ("Uhhh....where did that Brielbara woman want us to go again?")

Some people don't use their journals to its full extent, unfortunately. Otherwise, it's a very helpful too.

Yago is on the third level of the Low Lantern. On second level are a couple of entropy chicks you have to fight as well.

Seeing how I am currently reading Six's info on his site, I just realized that there is a picture of the Low Lantern in his guide. If you forgot how the entrance looks, you can see it here
