Well, soccer ( i hate that word) isn't exactly thriving there. No matter what they try, it won't become a succes like everywhere else.

TV rights for cricket caused huge "wars" in India. A billion people is a huge audience. However the economy is such that not every Indian has a TV, and Indian dollars are worth way less than American ones.
