Yes, and give a thought to those stuck in their parents house with no option to party, due to the fact their friends are out of town. Oh well, running FTW!

I forced myself to stay home tonight, i've had so much beer and wine since Christmas up until now, that i actually felt it was enough for a while. I called off the people who's party i was going to attend, and they couldn't believe their ears, and i can't either really, perhaps these are signs i'm growing up ?
Only had one sixpack at midnight while watching the fireworks, and that was it.

Happy New Year, everyone! Hubby and I played a little Sacred (thanks again, LadyZ, for that awesome gift!) and now we're having dinner with a friend and then might watch a dvd or play scrabble.
I know, not too terribly wild or exciting but we're having fun and enjoying each other's company, which is all I need to ring in a new year!
