If a woodchuck would get paid to chuck wood, say 15 dollars per 5 pounds of wood, then a woodchuck would definitely go about and chuck wood. The question is, of course: would the woodchuck's wife chuck wood if the woodchuck couldn't chuck wood? What if the woodchuck would chuck in his leg instead of in the wood? And how much would the woodchuck's wife earn if she would chuck wood?

The equality of sexes in the woodchuck's world of wood is not so great, so the wife would only get some 7 dollars for 5 pounds of chucked wood. But a woodchuckress can disguise himself into a woodchuck and chuck wood like a woodchuck but the other woodchuck foremen wouldn't recognize her. Then she gets the money due to a woodchuck, but she isn't one. Woodchucks woodchucking is woody(dirty) business.

But one thing to take into account is the woodchuckress can chuck more wood than a woodchuck, in which case should the woodchuck chuck wood at all or let his wife chuck wood if she would. So, even though the wood chuck's wife gets paid less per pound of chucked wood, all in all, the woodchuck couple would chuck more wood and get paid more.
