Well, the fact that you guys bitchslapped Man U in their own stadium, in front of their own fans, is a small consolation for the Reds missing out. Congratulations.

i watched the game with a manutd fan and he certainly wasnt happy. he almost died when some arsenal fans pulled out a flag that said... "old trafford, champions section"

oh, and whats the story with that guy with the moustache? the tv kept zooming in on him and they mentioned something that happened a few years ago.

Congrats you guys. Just a warning: If after 84 years, the Sox finally win the Series...don't expect me for about a week. I'll be lying in a state of delerious bliss.

I know what you mean, Lioness. If ever the Saints get to the Super Bowl, I'll fall out of my chair and butt my head on the floor, I'll be so astounded.

When we beat man utd 4 years ago when mark overmars scored, the camera zoomed in on that guy at the end of the game, cheering wildly, eyes bulging. He became a bit of a minor celebrity.

Thanks for all the congrats. Just a quick update. I didn't quite manage to get to work on Thursday. (Too tired )
So I spent all of the afternoon and most of the evening in the pub. Welcoming each Spurs and Man U supporter personally as they came in the door.

Celebrations continue tomorrow when we are presented with the Championship Trophy after the last home game against Everton. Big party atmosphere in Islington after the game. Then on Sunday morning the team parade the trophies on an open top bus to the Town Hall.
