My choice would be Ajantis - always liked the knight in shining armour then

I'm glad Khalid died. Freed up Jahiera
I liked Kagain... and I know Korgan is basically a twin of him except stronger, Korgan doesn't have that 20 con. Practical immunity to poison and natural regeneration were WONDERFUL features. Plus I think Kagain and Korgan would have made a great team as a front line. Oh well, so much for the twin dwarven ragers. |

I must admit to killing off Kalid in BG1 ,i'd send him naked and unarmed towards the enemy and break the news to jahiera as best i could, not that it bothered her for long.
But i'd bring along Ajantis(with Holy Sukien bow),and Yeslick who could use the dwarven thrower. |

I must be odd - I had a habit of killing of Jaheira in the same way. For some reason Khalid was always way too good to kill off - Give him gauntlets of ogre power, using the + 2 frostblade, with 5* Long sword skill. He made a great front line with Minsc.

Xzar, definitely, all the way!!!
~Smiles, everyone! This is like some great fantasy!~ ~I know dragons with feet like rabbits! 'Tis true, I swear!~ (upon gaining reputation points)~Must we be so *insufferably* charitable?~ (upon Montaron's death)~Montaron! I...I...I *never* loved you!~ Seriously though, I usually played with some of the following list: Minsc Dynaheir Jaheira Khalid Imoen Viconia Edwin Xan Kivan Yeslick Branwen Currently started playing again with the DSOTSC expansion.....looks promising. ------------------ Melusine, Archbabe of the Order of the Holy Flame and the Laughing Hyenas, & Official Entertainer Elf of the BG2 Bar Your voice is ambrosia |

My current party in BG1:
. Me (Fighter/Thief) Minsc Kivan Imoen Branwen Dynaheir . I have used in previous games: Coran (excellent) Yeslick (also good) Others I didn't keep for long: Xzar (too whiney) Montaron Xan (too whiney) Khalid (too whiney) Jaheira (too whingey) Garrick (bard didn't suit my style of play) Viconia . No, I never dualled Imoen, although one of my friends dualled her to a mage . ------------------ In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is pimp |

Garrick the useless bard was always quite a laugh! But with intelligence of only 13 it was constant reloading when it came to learning spells.
I also liked Dynaheir, Kivan, Coran and Safana. Xzar gives me the creeps, with his strange phrases (see Melusine's post above!) so he always gets dumped. And Khalid is just too nervous the whole time, so he usually gets killed! At the moment (at the early stages of the game) I have: PC (Cleric) Garrick Kagain Jaheira Edwin Imoen I am using the opportunity to try out some of the NPCs I never used before, so will be picking up others later since I never used anyone available from chapter 3 onwards (apart from Coran) before now, and maybe I will swap Edwin for Xan, I haven't decided yet. ------------------ Time is an illusion.
