Since I do not know what fps is, I guess my remarks would not be worth reading...but I am curious...

FPS, First Person Shooter, Half-Life, Doom, that sort of thing, I enjoy the occasional very well made FPS like Half-Life when I need to get rid of some aggressions, but otherwise I avoid them.

True there is nothing quite like (realistically) shooting bad dudes to S''t especially with the added gore factor my heart is in Rpgs but the allure of a good Shootemup haves its virtues.....

RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN OUT IN THE UK SOON!!!

I play them occasionally, but I'm not a big fan. I usually end up in completely dark hallways, blocked in all directions with no idea whatsoever what I sould do next.
Occasionally I do something right though, after which I can move on happily a while. And then I come to the corner around which I know that creature is standing, and it scares the hell out of me even so

Well, I'm exaggerating a wee little bit here
I actually do enjoy them at times (I rmember making levels for wolvenstein 3D with the purple and grey walls, and then playing them, which was how I spent my afternoons years ago) but given the choice I usually play other games (though I'll prefer a shooter over a sports game any day)
