From what I've heard Western Digital is a good brand. I use maxtor drives myself I think, but then I never buy anything for my computer. Seagate is pretty good as well I believe.

Western Digital a good brand? Z might find that funny. I'll definately look into the other two though.

I would go for Seagate Barracuda drive i have had this on a 120 gig for 1,5 years now and no problems with it and it have 8 mb cache and wery silent.
I have had 5 Western digital hd's and they all have colapsed in a period of 1-2 years..!

All 5 within 1-2 years, or 5 with 1-2 years each?

Anyway, I don't plan on picking up another Western Digital. If this one's going dead after just one year I don't want it.
