Sad

Here's a little trivia contest I put together. I've listed the song titles - all you have to do is list the artist. Some of the songs were "One Hit Wonders" and some are lesser known songs by artists that were big during the 80's. Enjoy!

BTW Mods, if this should be moved to the "Books, Movies and TV " forum, that's fine. I just figured it would get more exposure here.

OK, from what I've counted, I know the artists of 30 of the songs. Is that weird, considering I'm only 18.4?
I used to listen to a bunch of those while I was a kid(Bette Davis Eyes, Come on Eileen...), around 9-10 I guess. And the rest I guess are quite popular now(Maniac, Final Countdown).

Then copy the songs and put in the artists beside the ones you know.

Good job so far, Variol, but I think it would help if you just copied the song list and then typed in the names besides the songs. It would be much easier to match up - if it isn't too much trouble. Thanks.

Without looking at any other answers... I think I've got 55. I don't remember the artists for many of the others, but I remember the songs...

Thanks, Cerek. I think I feel ancient now.

Never mind. I've killed too many brain cells, and I've got too many that are close, but not there. I'll look again at ones that haven't been answered yet.

Okay, of those...

067 She's A Beauty - The Tubes
071 Everybody Wants You - Billy Squier
080 Rock Me Amadeus - Falco
082 The Way It Is - Bruce Hornsby and the Range
094 She's A Beauty - The Tubes (again?)

Aggghhh....I was AFRAID I would do that. I made this list over a couple of months and tried my best to make sure that NO artist or band was entered more than once...and then I end up putting the same SONG in twice.

Edit: And now I've discovered another repeated song. Eyes Without a Face appears at #18 & #98. Crap. Guess I'll need to revise the list and make two new entries.

Sheesh...is my face double red.
