...at the stroke of 12 midnight, right on Easter Sunday, while we were on holidays in Italy. So we had to rush back to Manila to attend the wake and funeral. I just got back to Sydney today. She was 95. I'm sad, but she had a good innings - a really good innings, and she's in a better place now.

I'm really sorry, Mario. 95 is an amazing age, she must have seen some incredible things in her lifetime and taken good care of herself throughout. Take comfort in that and her being in a better place now, as you say. I wish you all the best in dealing with this.

It's hard no matter when someone leaves. May she rest in peace, and may you and all your family find peace as well.

How are you holding up?

My condolence. May she rest in peace.

Speaking of which, my grandma is about 90+ too and her health is steadily declining each passing year... soon, it will be her turn to go.

That's terrible dude.

As Arledrian said, she lived to an amazing age - if that's anything to draw from such a tragedy.

May she rest in peace.

Awe Mario, I'm sorry man. Ninty-five IS a totally amazing age, and you're right man, she is in a better place now. She lived an amazingly long life. I always love talking to older people, learning and listening to their stories of life and stuff.

Still, it does hurt. My thoughts are with you my friend.

Sorry to hear about your Gran Mem. By the sound of it she lived a full life though.

Take it easy mate.
