Fallout 3
Just seen some reviews for fallout 3. Anybody tried it and if so what do you think? I have never played fallout 1 or 2 are they still good or dated? I'm looking for a PC game for christmas so do you recommend some others?

Re: Fallout 3
Fallout 1 & 2 are still good, but different from Fallout 3.

Re: Fallout 3
What little spare time I have these days I devout to playing Fallout 3. While distinctly different from the earlier games, it totally captures their intensity and humour. It is quite fun on it's own merits.
The earlier PC fallouts are only out-dated in their graphics. Fallout 1 &2 most def. stand up to the test of time. Dogmeat FTW!!!!

Re: Fallout 3
Well, Yahtzee didn't rape it up the bum with a pointy stick. Either that means it's good, or Beth slipped him an envelope full of cash.
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/vide.../420-Fallout-3 Many, many arguments on the official forums about whether it can be called a true sequel. I can't wait to try it out, even if i already know which camp i'll fall into. As for the original Fallout, it's an RPG classic. You're mad if you don't hunt it down.
