Wizardry 8 - should be out some time this year (we all hope).

The Wizardry series by Sir Tech has been a wonderful set of CRPGs. For many of us they were the very first CRPGs we ever played! Bradley helped in the creation of Wizardry 4 - 7 before moving on and writing W&W.

D.W. helped with 4? I don't think so... Are you sure?

Nope...it was only Wizardry 5-7 that Bradley worked on. I fairly hated Wiz 4.

Really though, the best thing about Wiz 4 is that the (good) badguys in the game were actually taken from gamers who sent their saves to Sir-Tech, to either get the saves fixed or to show how great their parties were! Some of the names of Wernda's opponents were pretty funny.

So, what you're saying, Mark, is that Wiz 4 was created on a shoestring! It was the players who created the opponents, not the company! LOL!

I still hated it.
