WK Level 5 bug (final seal)

Hello all - strange glitchy situation this one.

Knee deep in the mire of the final Watcher's Keep battles, I managed to beat the Marileth and Hive Mother and move on to the third and final seal confrontation.
So after making necessary buff preperations, I send in Korgan to turn the bottom key once, where we get the xp - but after I turn it the second time, the game goes into the full screen 'cutscene' then simply freezes and does not teleport in the enemies for my party to vanquish.
So instead, I'm left to sit, ponder and watch my summons disappear one by one before having to alt-tab out and quit the game.

Anyone encountered anything similar to this? Found nothing in the archives so far. It might be fixed by a cleaning of the cache, which I'll try next. I have already tried resting back at the pocket plane, but still the game continues to freeze.
Once again, I'm fully patched with current Baldurdash fixes installed.

i only used the official patches. had the occasional ctd and a couple of hangs. never anything like that though.

I've stumbled upon a temporary solution - deleted the cache and had to revert to a previous savegame and do level 5 again. No great loss. I did the Lich and flamin' skull battle first this time to ensure it was all in working order. So hopefully I can now continue on seamlessly to the Imprisoned One.

Having to redo the Hive Mother fight is a slight chore, but I'll experiment a bit more to make it more fun. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I had the same problem long ago. A trip to the pocket plane and a quick rest solved it.
