(ooc: Keep posting, Spree and Deiter...I'm trying to speed up my part of the plot so that Larry can pick it up from there. Deiter - hope you didn't mistake my post yesterday. I meant that I hoped nothing spooky happened to any of you on that trip to the house... sorry if I offended you )


She faces the scenery outside her window, her fingers drumming on the ledge restlessly. Isabeau perches on the branch of the tree planted about ten feet away. ~ Finally, Isabeau, finally we have some peace at last… ~ Her familiar spreads out her wings, flapping them majestically and takes off for the sky, circling the area above the tree. She shrieks once, then swoops into the bedroom, landing on the table.

Was I in the wrong, Isabeau?… Something in Larry's eyes told me that he feels maligned. But I did send you after him because of the ring, didn't I? Without the ring, he'd have been a charred corpse by now… and not some hero… ~ Her forehead wrinkles as she shakes her head confusedly ~ No, he is too foolish to assume he can always make it on his own. He must be in the wrong… ~ She begins pacing around the room, much to Isabeau's discomfort ~ Oh! Am I giving you a headache?… I'm sorry…but then, you do that all the time yourself… ~ Desperately, she tries to laugh, but the sound emitting from her mouth rings hollow.

A nagging doubt begins to gnaw at her heart ~ Compare Fabian against Larry, for instance. He's so calm and controlled, knowing exactly what is required for the moment. He doesn't go charging into danger, and has a sense of his abilities. He's meticulous, and plans well ahead of time about what is appropriate or not… ~ Suddenly, her heart experiences a piercing stab ~ What love is this that I can compare him against Fabian? What impure thoughts I am having! ~ Instantly, she remembers Fabian's earlier orders that had repulsed her momentarily ~ How can I even think of judging Larry when he accepts me for what I am? ~ Her hands rise to her temples, rubbing them furiously ~

I've been deceiving myself, Isabeau… I'm to blame for your near death as much Larry. I didn't train you beforehand to avoid danger when it is so close…I just didn't want to accept my part in this… ~ her mind begins to spin ~ Have I been in the wrong all this while, then? ~

With a sinking heart, she sits on the chair and stares into Isabeau's eyes ~ Larry can never be Fabian, and I don't ever want him to be anyone else!…Fabian wouldn't have rushed to my rescue in the sea-elven place… he would have run off for reinforcements. And that's what makes Larry special…. and what I love about him… ~

The earlier scene begins to replay in her mind ~ I berated Sephi in front of Larry… that's as good as not trusting Larry's judgement… and insulting Larry in front of his friend… ~ Tears rush out from the corners of her eyes and down her cheeks ~ I've been nothing but a wilful child! Oh, Isabeau, I've made a mess of everything again! ~ With a wretched cry, she flings herself against the table and buries her head in her arms. Her body trembles violently as she sobs her heart out.

Walking across the table to her mistress, Isabeau lifts her left wing and gently flaps it against her mistress' head repeatedly. A soft croak emerges from her throat.

( ooc: Hrm... I'll send you some Peach Buds for Christmas. Of course you have no clue what I'm talking about... You probably think I'm sending you a dead tree. )

~She nods her head in agreement.~ "I can't keep track of anybody anymore." ~She gives a helpless grin, taking his hand.~ "Let's... Let's just go for a walk... Just some peace in all this chaos. You and me." ~She looks up at him.~ "And if we happen to bump into one of our friends..." ~She pauses then grins.~ "We'll help them up and be on our merry way."

Lol I feel really dense now. I didn't realize that anyone had posted anything on my comment about that, sorry Mistral. Hehe nothing spooky happened other then that we split up into groups and they made me check the basement by myself

Deiter smiled at her as he took her hand."Let's be off then." The two went off for there walk, the first time in a while they were at peace.

(ooc: OK, Peach Buds. They're these peach flavored candies that are either like Jolly Ranchers or gummy worms. Best thing that's every happend to me. OK, maybe Deiter overthrows the peach buds... ROFL! Don't you feel special?)

~She clings to his arm, drowzily looking about. Her thoughts drift as she gazes at the stars. For one reason or another, I hope we don't bump into anybody.~

His thoughts drifted to the events that had happened today. What a day... He was brought out of his thoughts by the warmth of Chani walking next to him. Deiter smiled to himself as looked up at the stary night.
