During character creation does the subrace button have any effect? I've entered in drow, aasimar and tiefling all to no effect. Is there any purpose to it?

Nah, they have nothing to say. They just add flavour to the game.

You can always just write 'Aasimar' in the subraces-field, and it will show in the game, it just won't have any effect.

*shrugs. Well, some customs mods support subraces. There are also some hack packs that allow you to use them

My favorite is to click elf, then type in the subrace: half dragon or dragon, then make them a scourcerer, because at one point somewhere, I read that people think that they are dragons in disguise, and I belive that.
It ought to have an effect on the people though.
boo shame
