To start, I just wanted to apologise if i am being completely ignorant.
Okay, here we go. All of you guys will have been past the oracles in the river/cave thing between Valeia and Ishad N'ha. One thing I noticed; when you are close to them and it is daytime, it looks like there is a passage behind them. I haven't had the time or the patience to try and get back there (through the 'magic fires') and i've been afraid of being singed to a crisp. Anybody care to try it out and report back? I'd love to know if it was an empty space or if something interesting was back there...... Best of luck to those who are gonna try it out. Cheers, Moiraine Sedai

I don't think you can get back there. They just need a place to hang out and have a tea break.

When I went through Toad Village second time I completed the game I got stuck due to the "stuck toad" bug. I then took some crates and threw them down into the water from the wooden platform from which I entered toad village. I was then able to jump down onto those crates and from there up to the other platform. I was then able to climb down behind the stuck toad.
The problem is that one cannot jump in water be it ever so shallow. Perhaps if you had the patience to stack a line of crates from the entrance of the cave to the fires you might be able to jump over them. (Perhaps that should be done from the Ishad N'ha side of the tunnel since the bridge on the other side might prevent you from getting on top of the crates?!?) Perhaps the idea is a bit far-fetched, but it is the best I can come up with. (Hey, perhaps I ought to post the the toad tip in the "best tips" thread?) Definitely add that to the best tips thread, bsftcs! I hadn't thought about that one before...
And moiraine, I believe I've tried to get back there and been unsuccessful. Perhaps for a repeat character with high fire and magic protection it might be possible... hmmm... perhaps I'll send Lady Tigra for a look-see.

I think the "tunnel" behind the oracles is a result of simplifications in the rendering algorithm. You can see such false "tunnels" sometimes in the game. The "tunnels" appear when you look from a rather strictly specified point in a rather strictly defined direction. In the other words, they do not do any harm.
Everytime you "see through" only from a specified location and only if you look in a certain direction, then consider it an artefact and ignore it. AFAIK, there are no "hidden passages" (passages that pretend to be walls, a forests, and so on but that are passages in fact) in the game. The "tunnel" behind the oracles might be such artefact. I have tried to see the place where the oracles are. I cast Lavawalk and tried to go through the fires. The fires pushed me back no matter what I did. (The fires didn't burn me - the Lavawalk worked.) The Vanish spell fizzled. I think there is no normal way of entering the place with the oracles.

I think Radek nailed it. Remember that this game is rather old so the texture isnīt all up to date or modern. But being old does of course not mean it is not an excellent game.
