If you want "infinite" experience you can kill the ghost of Rumphy over and over again in the Crypt. If you want an exp boost, Paladins can get the Crusade trait (at Priest guild lvl 5 IIRC) which earns them double exp killing undead (lots of those at Shurugeon Castle). Once you get past Brimloch Roon almost all monsters give big EXP, so don't worry too much. You can also get more exp by setting your difficulty level to "Hard", the monsters have more hp and give more exp that way.

You could also just play with a single character... he'll move up the ladder quickly... especially if you kill Rumphy a few times

Big XP bonus:
Kill Ereasthmador and Oakenir

Hi Devlin!

Another strategy that folks use to pump up their characters is to play the Valeia/crypt area over and over by resetting the game.

Rumphy is far easier since you can make him regenerate just by returning to the statue of Kerah but that can get a bit boring - but look who's talking - the person who in the original Wizardry killed Humphry a zillion times for the experience! lol!!

Wyvern: are you talking in the crypt in the graveyard by valhia, is rumpy the guy that you kill and then to leave you go up into the secret room, or is he the guy that was doing experiments and turned himself into a monster. how do i get him to regenerate.
