Hello many of you may have seen my posts now and then but this post is not about me. This is a thank you to all members of the Ironworks Forum and mostly to the Nine (9)I Meen (10) Moderators that make this forum what it is.
I just spent 14 hours today going from one forum to the next all over the internet. All were Game forums of one kind or another and on many of them I tried to get answers to games I am playing, or I looked at problems others were having and then red the replies. On 80% of the replies they had nothing to do with the games in question, or they replied trying to make the person asking the question fell like an ASS for even asking, and some of these are forums that the Game manufacture considered their home page forum. In this gamers opinion The computer RPG Game manufacturers OWE the Ironworks forum alot and in most cases I think they should be paying the bill that Ziroc has to come up with each month to keep this forum running. Every game I own other than the very first Baldur's Gate is because of Ziroc and the moderators recommendations, and because the only place you can really find help for these games without getting spammed to death or cussed at in french or german is the Ironworks. I just wanted to say thank you to these people from around the world for making The IRONWORKS FORUM better than anything out there anywhere. So to these Nine OH MY GOD I FORGOT ONE So to these TEN #1) Ziroc #2) Memnoch #3) Larry OHF #4) Mouse #5) Cloudbringer #6) Cocoa Spud #7) Sazerac #8) Xignal #9)Dundee Slatern #10)Last but not least LUVIAN sorry I left you out! CB I Hope I didn,t forget any body else THANKS for the no spam zone and Happy New Year. and for all that agree just bump and leave your sig. I know what you mean Crimsomblade. I've been there done that ages ago with "other" gaming forums, and the difference between them and Ironworks is radical! Other forums tend to have "cliques" and people who like to pick on newbies (kinda reminds me of what it would be like if you went to jail, same reception LOL). Ironworks has excellent gaming forums, you can post a question and be replied to within minutes, or seconds even! And in a polite way to boot, go figure!!!! This place rocks! I've played BG1, BGII, IWD and NWNs and cherished the forums I had to rely on during my gameplay. Now I'm going to give a shot at an older game "Wizards and Warriors" soon, and look forward to going to the W&W forum for info and help, as I already know the reputation of Ironwork's W&W's forum, i.e., excellent
So, in summary, Ironworks to me is a Diamond, and all the similar gaming forums are like Cubic Zirconias on the net that eventually reveal their inferiority. |

I'm diving in Attalus soon! I'll be OK! Water seems nice, plus I've got my alligator innertube!

*Shudders inwardly at the thought of playing W&W/ posting on the W&W Forum.* I mean, do you know what the name their bars? Misspelling them, too.

I must agree whole-heartedly. Ziroc has created something here that he should be proud of.
