Computer/Processor Help Plse for ID2
Had a shocker, started new campaign and my laptop went pop!
Bottom line need a new laptop and don't know much about it. Before i buy anyone familiar with computers etc plse tell me if the following processor would run ID2 Acer Aspire 5733 laptop with processor: Intel Core i3-370M 2.4GHz, 3MB L3 cache Intel HM55 Chipset is it strong/good enough to run ID2 which has processor requiremnts of: Recommended Intel Pentium III 500 or AMD Duron or Athlon processor Required Intel Pentium II 350 MHz or AMD K6 - III 400 MHz Thanks for any help Hugh |

Dude, ID2 was released in '02. Anything made today will easily run it.

Thanks ElfBane. I was a bit concerned as this i3 processor not as powerful as the i5 & i7.
Just thought i'd check before forking out some dough. |

I have run into one problem playing BG1/BG2 or IWD/IWD2 on the most up-to-date computers--the game runs so efficiently that combat progresses almost faster than I can keep up with it. I had to set them to be like some of the older turn-based games and auto-pause at the end of each round.

Thanks Azred that's eased my mind. I can live with it working too well as i normally pause after each round anyway.
