A bit more gaming, with the peasants pretty much running gauntlets to raise levels. They're all around level 15 now, with two exceptions: Periwinkle, who's a level behind in her new assassin class, and now Flicker, the newly created warlock.
YES!!!! Finally, a class change! Flicker raised a level, and Eljayess was carrying enough ankhs to allow Flicker to become a warlock! That was 3 WIL, 3 INT, and 3 FOR. At 625 GP each, that was quite an expensive level-up, but well worth it. Way cool, way cool.... except for one minor detail. IIRC, warlocks can train in moon and fiend at both the temple and wizard guild. Poor Flicker, unfortunately, can only train them at the temple. I'm not sure what's going on... probably another side effect of the peasant game. At least she's getting some INT now... Poor Flicker, though... as a warlock, she lost her chain boots, chain leggings, shield, and D'Soto's chain mail... dropping her AC down to diddly squat. And yes, that's indeed what it was Her first battle as a warlock was against an entire school of dartha eels... probably ten of 'em. She died three times in that battle... lots of paraleep fighting, but 'twas little use. There were just too many of them. She's now up to level 6, I think... just running gauntlets to raise her up, and hopefully get her up to the traveling spells shortly. We could sure use another mooncaster... That was all, aside from another massive battle near Anephas' shrine. Four Dumdee Oleohs, a pack of eight or so forest raptors, and a nesting spider... just put your backs to the walls, ladies, and kill anything that comes near you... Until the next time....

I beleive that you need to be a level 2 (or maybe 3) member of the Wizard guild to train in Moon or Fiend.

Oooohhh... that would do her in!
There is one quest waiting for her, the seed from the living tree. I'll have to see if there are any other holdovers.
