Personally, I can't stand cheese. I don't know if it's the smell, or the taste, or the look, or the colour. Probably all of the above and then some.
But they say you have to know your enemy. Anyone ever had brown cheese? The scandinavian type? |

I can't say I am a big cheese fan. I only eat it on pizza. I think I was turned off a bit as a kid when I found out what rennet was...
But I think the worst is what I saw on some food show. They were in France talking about a kind of cheese (I forget the name) that has mites living in it. It was supposed to be really good, because, you know, insects taste soooo good.

I am a big fan of cheese, but not too keen on stilton. And don't even talk to me about mild cheddar or edam, if you can't taste it there's no point, and edam bounces which is never a good thing.
My favourites: Mature Cheddar Double Gloucester Wensleydale Feta Mozarella Haloumi And pretty much any goats or sheeps cheese. BTW, about the earlier post concerning mould, penicillin is a mould that was first discovered growing on oranges. Most drugs we use today have a natural origin.

Cheese.
I'm partial to an EVIL Horseradish Cheddar the Amish make hereabouts. Sharp cheddar with a horseradish kick... brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Also... Parmasan (is there any other reason to eat Spaghetti) The Cigarette companies got in big trouble for calling cigarettes a "nicotine delivery system" in an internal document... well I call Green Salads my "Blue Cheese Delivery system" Feta - (Spanicopita anyone ) Bree, M. Jack, Gorgonzola, Ricotta (Lasagna!!!), Cottage cheese, Cheese Curd, even good ole American (if it hasn't seen a plastic wrapper in its life)... I could go on and on. One of my favorite things about trips to Europe is when they whip out the cheese tray during dinner (they don't do that here in the states)... MMMMM.
