Either you're exaggerating, or what you experienced is a form of abuse. Seriously. No one has the right to do that to another person, even if (or especially if) they're your parent. I don't know where you live, but in my neck of the woods, CPS would be all over her like stink on sh**. -Sazerac

And we even go further with the sheepheads... WE NUKE them, seriously they get a gaslighter and SINGE it til it's all black and then boil it and eat it, we leave the brains thought... I agree that it's disgusting. Here in Iceland we also eat sour sheep testicles... It's one of those traditional food... including sour Sharkmeat... both taste like rotten meat you have dipped into floorcleaning water... I remember that, long ago, my sister once ate a peanut butter and melted cheese sandwich just to gross me out. At first I didn't know what it was, and she wanted me to try it. I did, and it was SICK!!!!! After I tried it she told me what it was. One of the grossest things I have ever seen, except "Mountain Oysters". They are actually fried goat testicles.

My Mom used to make chicken and rice soup and the meat in it was the chicken giblets (defined as the heart, liver, and gizzard) which I guess could be considered gross!

Spinach is, while a supposedly ordinary food, the foulest thing that has ever passed my lips.
Anyone who has eaten a testicle of any kind is no friend of mine |

When I was in a university flat in England, at least six students shared each kitchenette in the building. I was eating a nice tame dinner of my own only to turn and see that the Chinese resident was boiling up some chicken feet in the pot. All I could see was a bushel of clawed feet sticking up in the pot before I ran with my plate to eat somewhere else. Blaaaaah!

I think one of the grossest foods I've ever seen anyone eat was when my grandmother would make boiled okra. *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwww!* Nasty, slimy mess!!!!
Also, though they are quite commonly eaten here around these parts, I find turnip greens most foul. Also, raw tomato makes me gag!
