Hey Guys,
Here is an idea I've been toying with for a while and i just wanted to gauge your reaction. All over Undermountain we have these lovely PvP arena which to my knowledge is not being used very much. What I'm proposing is a tournament. The Winner gets a NPC named after them and bragging rights. This will be a free for all, or one on one (bracket/knockout style) of Ironworks v's Ironworks, Mate verses Mate. This will consist of Server vault characters only up to level 40 ( we will give people time to get their character to high levels ) Please note this is an idea only. I have not approched Z with this yet so the idea is in the early stages. What I'm looking for is comments, concerns, ideas etc. Heres to some good fun! That's a great idea, hope I get on enough to train up and participate
Maybe you could do tier fights (20th level and below one fight, 21st and above for the other) Or maybe a no magic fight, or a magic only fight, etc.? Maybe ranged weapons only, or only melee. Maybe even make it the IW EfU yearly tournament, and if people see the prize (NPC named after them, or whatever) it may entice more people to buy the games and join in!

So far some good responces.
So should we have a magic user tournament and a fighter tournament ? For Magic users should we ban Timestop ? (cause this means ho ever gets it off first wins) Or for fighters no dev crit ? Is there a way to nerf these two just for the tournament so we don't have to re roll new characters ?

I think the winner should be the one that wins the everything goes match. The one match that has no restrictions other than those that the server limits.
I like the catagory matches Idea and think their should be these below also Human Vs Human or Elf, Half Elf,Dwarf and all races that think they can last Brownies included at their own risk 1) Mage match 2) scorcerers Match 3) Thieves and Rogues Match 4) Paladin Vs Dark Paladin (Human only) 5) shifter Match (Dragon Vs Dragon ) 6) Pale Master (summon undead O.K.) 7) Assassin Match 8) Ranged Weapons Match - Arrows, Darts, Thrown weapons, and Slings. 9) all Magic Users Match w/staff weapons and wands. 10) Monks only Match 11) FIGHTERS Match all classes NO MAGIC or ranged weapons. 12) small races match All events above are for Lvl 15-40 fight at your own risk The MAIN EVENT [Lvl 35-40] Anyone and everyone can join from all walks of life. ANYTHING GOES double elimination. Last creature standing walks away with the Title of Champion of Undermountain and a plack in the Inn with Your PC's name and a double of your PC as an NPC standing in the inn loafing around if Ziroc agrees. all matches will take place around the last week of october from friday 10/22/04 thru sat 10/30/04 winner will be anounced Sunday 10/31/04 at the Holloween party in the Inn LOL

Sounds great i agree with the match ideas although it might be hard to get us all on at the same time.

Since Im organising this Tournament I will be restricting it to ONLY server vault characters that have been created and leveled in Undermountain.

Sounds great. I like the Battle Royale idea better because there is no way my 20th level char with barely 200 hit points could stand up to a 40th level char with over 500 hp unless I had a little (or lot) of help! Let me know when to take it down.
