Are the any single player modules out there that anyone might recommend? Did you find them to be at least entertaining and worth the time to download and play? I have heard a few things about something called, “witch” something-or-other. As well, might someone be able to indicate a web site or two where they are available. Thank you for your help and opinions.

Here's a link to the Bioware download page. You'll find the first installment of Witch's Wake.
Near the bottom of this page you'll find links to the Neverwinter Vault which has hundreds of modules, and they are ranked in a number of different ways by players including best overall, most downloaded, hack'n'slash, role-play, etc. I've heard the Pool of Radiance mod was very good. Happy hunting! [ 01-10-2003, 02:04 PM: Message edited by: Ronn_Bman ]

Pool of Radiance is good
All Things are Light is good - great story, scripting needs a little work, treasure is well balanced - definitely read the historical background on this. "Nobody expects the Inquisition" Rune:Subliminal Darkness is VERY well put together except for the balancing. Be warned it is NOT for the faint of heart, do NOT take an understrength party into this mod unless you WANT to die or be frustrated repeatedly!!!! You NEED a party of 5 20th level adventurers including at least two MAJOR tanks to get anywhere! We never could finish this with a party of 3 at 17th level - the combats are OBSCENE!!! Noratal adventures is good Penultima: the series is good

You should have a look at the list of top rated modules at NWN Vault:
http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/modules/modulesTop2.shtml I personally can't really recommend any specific module. I haven't found many that I liked all that much Maugeter was cool but it was only a demo...

Just played the first part of the Witch's Wake and really liked it. I see several mods mentioned here so I think I'll look for them.
Can anyone recommend others that are interesting, not too buggy and worth downloading?

In addition to the ones listed above, Ruins of Netheril looks very good - haven't completed it but it looks promising. Character levels 4-8 depending on size of the group.

I've dl Pools of Radiance and the Penultima Series thanks to advice here. I only just started them but they seem pretty good so far. My only complaint at this point is the angle of the view in Pools of Radiance is off- you see buildings as if you are about one story up over them and back a ways.

As said above Penultima. I would try any of the modules on nwvaults top 20 or so. Other than that you just have to kinda look around. I have just downloaded Lone Wolf chapters 1 and 2. They look promising at least.
