Here's a dumb little question... is it at all possible to tell what time it is in game, besides guessing by the color of the sky?

Sorry but can't help asking a dumb question to ur dumb little question. Why should we be bothered by the game clock? Does it affect gameplay at all, like operating hours of shops etc?

Some NPCs require 24 hours to complete custom items. Store inventories will refresh after a certain amount of in-game time (anywhere from 18-24 hours seems to work, in my experience).

Other than that, I don't think time matters. You can rest for increments of 8 hours, and this provides a way of advancing time within the game, but as far as I know there isn't an in-game clock.

You can tell what time it is in the game by clicking on the save option...you'll see different times in each slot that you've saved in...your current potential save being the current time of day.
Comes in handy while waiting on custom weapons and armor to know how much time you have left before they are done or waiting for inventory updates, respawns, etc.
