For those who like commercial music (even I listen to top40 once in a while!).
Take 40 Australia Full-length songs (not downloadable though). If you've got a P4 like me and want something to listen to while surfing. NOTE: To listen to the full song, launch the site (you'll need Flash) then click on the Top 40 icon on the bottom right corner of the screen. Then select "The Show", then select "Countdown". You'll have songs from 1 to 40 in their entirety. Here's one for the UK crowd: dotmusic with a huge dance/house archive, I found Rui da Silva's "Touch Me" after hours of looking elsewhere. Roger Sanchez's new single is available here. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Memnoch (edited 08-26-2001).] |

I was a bit disappointed that they only provide 30sec soundbites for the top songs oh well...great site though. Problem with local stations is that it is 1 song, 5 commercials, 1 song, 5 commercials....

No, they have the entire songs. Click on the Take40 logo on the bottom right corner and then select "The Show" then select "Countdown". This has the Top 40 songs in their entirety. Don't worry I thought I was gypped too. ------------------ |

I know the song's about drugs, It's about tripping on acid, shrooms, or K. That's why I can relate to it, because in my wild youth (about 5 years ago) I used to go clubbing every week and so I (foolishly) tried all those things. One of the dumbest things you can do to yourself and I'm so thankful I didn't get past the trying stage. But that's all past now! I still go clubbing but without the D. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Memnoch (edited 08-26-2001).] |
