Yes, but are there any more "in the pipe"? Don't forget the huge lead time in developing new games.

Micro$haft has a vested interest in seeing the xbox succeed, and they are losing buckets of money on every xbox they sell - any leverage they can get, they will use.

OMG!!!!
A game with the graphics of Halo, the Plot of Myth and Baldurs Gate COMBINED and the physics of Mech assault combined into one Huge PC game... !!!

They'd have it all! OH and they could use Biowares Shadow Physics from MDk2 and NWN!
And probably only available for the Xbox
Yeah but for a proper Battletech/Mechwarrior game to be produced that would finally capture the spirit and breadth of the Battletech world I would go out and buy myself an Xbox the day the game was released

To refuse to buy a product that is obviously an offer lamb to apeace the PC players is not counterproductive since I rant and moan about it and have signed e-mail lists as well.

To buy it and give it big sales will show MS that people are just what they think. Meak lil lambs easily lead to be slaughtered. And they can do it again. On the other hand it is as you say, but I don´t think that will happen really. If PC Halo gets a big success, well then MS wins. The game has sold gold ontwo platforms and the angry mob of PC players, did buy it anyway.. Hey lets do it again.

No thanks.

Is it more profitable to make games to the XBox than the PC?
If MS think they will make money by releasing their new titles on PC then they will probably do so ( hopefully), but might only do so to get some well needed cash to help their XBox.

For M$ it wouls be more profitable to release games to Xbox than PC, since Xbox is their platform. It seems that M$ thinks that only releasing games to xbox will make nore people buy that junk instead of remain faithful to their PCs.

Has anybody heard the term "Wintel"????
So, think about it logically. Wintel is the real world combination of windows and intel. That is why 'supposedly' intel runs windows better than AMD.
Anyhow, with that thought, M$ would never leave it's main partner out to dry like that. For one, there is not even a single AMD corporate rep on the M$ board. So, it will always be avaible for the PC. But, as we have always the the run of the top dawg games, we must now wait for that little black box thingie to either fail or explode.

I see it this way. If it fails on the cute little box thingie, then we are saved from distressful situations of ever trying to load and play and update patches for some item of ill ability.
But the big question is still: Will PC-players buy a XBox just to be able to play Bioware´s games (among others) if they are only released there?
I probably won´t.
