It's a school assignment in progress, I have to make one page that is a links page (Web resources as it's called in the academic world )for a imaginary library. I was wondering if you guys could see how you like it and give me some tips on how to make is better...?

Wait, was I supposed to look at the website first?

Edit: Seriously though, it looks good, a bit slow on the load though.

Everything loaded quickly enough for me. I found the site to be easy on the eyes. The voting poll worked, the pic of the week worked. I really like that pic, BTW.

However,

Homepage
Webresources
Staff
Book of the week
We recommend
Web resources

on the left side of the page, all took me back to the homepage, at the same place as I started...

Web resouces is listed twice. Is it supposed to?

It's clean, concise, fast loading. (Never put too much on the opening page.)

Where it says "Internet Resources" in the center column, this graphic needs more work. It's sloppy and looks lopsided. Clean it up, make it look like a professional graphic. Enlarge it or center it.

The book of the week: you have the title and the image both pointing to an amazon listing; try using the type only to link to amazon and link the thumbnail to a larger copy of the image so people can see the cover clearer if they wish.
