This is the story I was referring to, but I have been unable to find an actual written law that the court based this off of. Maybe this is a new law that has just now been decided and has not yet been wrote up.

My only idea why this is not allowed is that the woman would have the child alone, without a husband...and that would be hard for the kid to not have a daddy there in the house. The courts cannot void the marriage, however...so the only option for a baby in this instance is to go to the sperm bank or adopt.

Sorry, Gabriel, but you are wrong. Porn does not "channel" sexual desire...it fuels it. Looking at porn will only INCREASE this guy's sexual drive. He won't be satisified with "paper" for very long.

I remember waaaaaaay back when I was just out of high school. A lady that I worked with at the local McDonald's was moaning about the fact that her husband had gotten the films he ordered in the mail today. Then she said "I know what that means for me when I get home".

She wasn't talking about him being asleep and resting peacefully because the porn movies had "satisfied" his sexual desire.....quite the opposite. He was going to be "cranked up and ready to go" when she got home!

Also, an adult theater in Chattanooga, TN was just closed permanently by the mayor because of all the open acts of sexual activity taking place inside the theater during the movie (both solo and with partners). It wasn't enough for the patrons to just see sexual acts...seeing them led to an increased desire to DO them...right then and there.

Porn does NOT "rehabilitate".

I agree completely. Same with conjugal visits (which are the same thing functionally as mailing sperm) - warden's fiat rules. YOu are a good inmate, he may let you, unless he's having a bad day or fought with his wife last night, etc.
