All classes are good. Any class can beat any class. Any class can lose to any class. My favorite, however, is dwarven fighter/cleric.

Dual-classed Human. Mage (Fighter)
First class: Fighter. Specialize in Long Sword and Bow Reach Level 7-9 Change to Mage. Pro: Tough from warrior training, competent in a battle. Even w/o armor a Mage with Fighter training can be a good archer. Bad-a** w/ spells. Esp. when you do the Improved Haste / Tenser's Transform thing. Con: Depending on when you switch, you may miss out on the max level of the new class. I once played through w/ all party members duals, one thief, two clerics, three mages, all switched over from fighers at Level 9. The firepower was immense, the hit point pool impressive. The game was too easy. |
