I just want to ask... do svirfneblin have their own language, and is it same as the drow's? can anyone verify for sure... thanks a lot...

I most certainly think that they have their own language. They are a completely different race than the Drow. Elvish and Drow I could imagine to be similar but the Gnomes and the Dark Elves. NAH!

The language of the Drow and language of the Svirfnebli are completely different. Drizzt didn't understand the gnomes when they met.

And I even know some words in their dialect. Magga Cammara! means: By the stones!

Svirfneblin speak their own language; however, many also speak Drow and Undercommon, and a few speak Common as well. Probably potential languages you could find a Deep Gnome speaking are Gnomish, Dwarvish, Kua-Toan, etc.

Gnomes and Drow. Hate eachother, hate each others stench, hate each others magic. Basically hate everything about each other yet you ask if they share the same language. The answer to your question has just be answred [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
