Dragon's Eye level 4 has to rate fairly high on the irritation factor. At least compared to the rest of the game. I've never really liked the cut scene sequences in this game where you simply watch things taking place. This moment takes away control from the player and dictates albeit only to a lesser extent how your characters react to a given situation. Perhaps if it were implemented with a stronger sense of "meanwhile", it wouldn't be so bad.

*Spoilerish*

So it makes me grumpier than a dwarf woken up too early to be struggling to prevent the spell being cast. I must have tried at least eight times now...

I'm just after some general ideas on how to tackle it.
Maybe one of you veterans will put me right.

I don't have Otiluke's Resilient Sphere which is a spell which would obviously come in handy at this moment...any other must spells do you think?

First I just tried to rush in with all weapons blazing. Ran out of time aswell. When she has sanctuary on, I am trying to counter with dispell magic, but it doesn't seem to work very often.
I'm also now staring to experiment with changing the formation and maybe get my thief in a position where a backstab might be possible...

Half-Orc Barbarian
Dwarven Fighter
Human Ranger
Drow Cleric
Halfling Rogue
Human Necromancer

Wel without the Sphere there's still plenty of ways to get her. Try spell-disrupting spells like Miscast and Deafness. Chromatic Orb works sometimes if you're persistent enough. You can throw spells and ranged weapons at he from the first ridge while your melee only character runs for transport, and then throw everything you've got at her. It's been my experience that she's not particulary powerful against death magic, something that should be in your necro's or even cleric's arsenal. I believe that there's a wand of Oti's Res Sphere somewhere in the area before, if you fail a dozen more times you may want to give it a go

What usally works for me is to cast haste on a char (or on all chars if u got the improved spells stocked) and rushs in with 1 char to the transport, which still gets the whole party moved to the place, and then just rush on her.. I hope you have a few +3 enh weapons for a better chance of hitting.. I also use miscast, stinki cloud and death cloud.. Fireballs and the oil flasks works good as well..

Gotta to back this tip up. Haste is the go in this situation. And as a side note Haste is IMO the best spell in IWD2 for getting the job done in any situation
