I have had numerous level-ups, but my ability points stay the same. I get the feeling once I create my characters, I cannot increase their Strength, etc. after the game starts. This should have been like Realms of Arkania in terms of attributes and level-ups.

Actually you can with a little help from certain tomes and things that are worn.
But not by much.If you plan on importing your main character into BG2,you should give any tomes to them.The change is permanent. |
