Well I've been reading about all these fantastic weapons you guys have been mentioning, but to be truthful I think they make the game a touch too easy at higher levels. I really have a thing for clubs and their are some great ones in BG2, CLUBS ROCK !

There will be a club +5 in ToB that will REALLY rock.

Well, if Entreri is in ToB and is not central to the plot, i'm sure he'll find the end of my katana...

Im a dwarf and i find that Crom F. is the best wep in the game
it puts yr strenght to 25, and has +5 to hit, +3 to damage & with grand mastery on hammeres it rocks, & i can wield a shield
There is no enemy it cannt hit (or better - kill )

Cellestial Fury & Holy avenger are very good too,
i thing that Warblade is better then vorpal
Daystar & Blade of roses r good too
For clubs, i find that red-acid club the best (+3 dam + 3 acid dam)
Spears - definitely the impaler
Bow - Hartseaker & mana bow
short sword - Cutthroat & short sword of backstabing
axes - stonefire & frostburn

Son of A B.... you mean to tell me the flame tongue is really a +4 enchanted weapon! Dang, now I am gonna drop how I role up a fighter/thief in weapon profesions.

Anyone heard if +4 enchanted arrows will be in the ToB game? I would really, really, really, like that (along with any other archers that found out half way threw the game that they couldn't hit alot of creatures...).

Personally, what would be great is to add some decent weapons to all the weapon classes (+4 and greater for all the types, and ensure that no matter what race/class/alignment you have a choice in your style to use, it may not be the best but will get the job done).

Personal list:
Crom Faeyr- just as bad as leory brown, meaner than a junk yard dawg.
Short bow of Gesen- you can run, but you'll just die tired.
Sling of Everard- Memories of David and Goliath here.
Flail of Ages- one, two, three combination.
Lilarcor- Chatter, protects, and slashes great!
Spear of Withering- Posioin, not just for assasin
Impaler Spear- bonus damage!
Daystar- Run away undead!
Azuredge- almost makes it unfair in fights, and you can get it so early!
Wave Halbred- make em thirsty!
Belm- twice as fast!
Celestial Fury- almost a flail of the ages, and speedy!

I left of the more class specific weapons, but there are some more nice ones out there. I also didn't put in my favorites, as I don't allways use the best, I use what is fun and tailored to my characters

I like Axes! Especially Stonefire or Frostreaver with Azuredge. The bloodyer the better. I know they are not the best weapons in the game. But thats what I like!
