Well, I'm not really that attached to the name Ironworks and since selling it proves to be both beneficial to Ziroc and these boards, I'm all in favor!
Ziroc is going to make the transition as easy as possible and as long as we keep all our friends here, there won't be much difference between the old and the new name. I'll just have to get all my bookmarks updated! Wyv |

Well I hope that everything stays the same! The people in here are more important than the name IMHO. As long as everybody tags along all will be well! BTW the most popular name suggestion on the GC board was Chocogaming lmao! For anyone who doesn´t know choc, look below

To concur with Wyvern, names change all the time. Companies change names, people change names, even towns and cities change names. The name, however, is just a symbol of what's there. As we all move over to the Escape Forums, I think we'll find that everything will continue on in much the same way.
So, to paraphrase the words of Tigers' broadcasting legend upon calling his final game this year, goodbyes are sad. I prefer to say hello to the new things that life brings. Bring your lockpicks and skeleton keys! It's on to the great Escape!

it's not that i am against the idea of ziroc selling the name, but it's juz dat i tink Ironworks sounds better than Escape. but since selling the name is beneficial, i'm all in favor of it then!

I know it's going to take me a while to get used to not saying "Ironworks"...kind of like when you write checks in January and keep writing the prior year number on your checks!
I never thought that the name "Ironworks" was indicative of a gaming site, though, so "Escape Gaming" is just fine with me, too. -Sazerac |
